Weigh in & Napier House

Weigh in - not so good GAIN 200 grams......oh well.

House in Napier - also not so good. They didn't accept our offer ($25,000 under what they wanted) mainly based on the house they wanted fell through so now they aren't in a hurry and are will to wait around for their asking price (unrealestic).
Oh well, we'll just have to find something else. As we are cash buyers now, it puts us in a much better position in the market.

Ummmmmm a million other things happening with packing, kids organised etc.
Example - just today Reece has a sausage sizzle, show and tell 'newe day' at school and going to a friends house after schhol while little Adam has a train trip to Masterton with his daycare, packed lunch (his favourite part of the whole day...LOL) and then we are all out for dinner at a friends house PLUS I have our business's G.S.T. return to do tonight and did I mention I still work full time? *big sigh* busy busy busy......never dull though.

Catch ya later

S.O.L.D.

We sold the house on Friday.....YAY!
At the 11th hour we had a guy walk in and give us a cash offer with only 2 days to sort his finances (which he did), I am still buzzing.

Resigned from my job about a minute or so later and then took off to Napier to celebrate and find a house to live in as our settlement date is only 4 weeks away.

We did find a house (the one we originally wanted) and are now waiting on the bank to tell us how much we can borrow before we put an offer in. Unfortunately we had to drop our house price about $50,000 to get a sale which isn't as bad as it seems since we are buying and selling in the same market. At the end of the day we just wanted to get up there and start our new life and $50,000 is only money and if we have to buy something a bit cheaper up there, so be it - at least we will all be together.

I had Andrew's cousin and nephew come down from Napier and stay the night which was great as she is one of my good friends and we hardly get time to just sit and relax. Managed to polish off a bottle of wine and I have a wee headache this morning (serves me right drinking on a Monday night!).

I've managed to grab a heap of boxes from work and over the next few weeks will be packing up bit by bit.

I have told the boys about the move and Adam thinks its "cool man" but he is only 3 and doesn't really understand. Reece (6 1/2 years old) thinks its cool one day and then cries the following day because he is leaving all his friends FOREVER.....LOL
Poor wee poppet, I'm trying to tell him that he'll make new friends etc but he has always been our emotional one and will eventually settle once we are up there.

My father who is also coming with us (lives in a self contained flat at the back of the property) is wrapped because the new house has a 2 bedroom granny flat which he loves. Oh - and there's a golf course close by so he's in heaven......hahaha.

Weight wise I have been a bit slack and have just been eating out of boredom which isn't great but I'm sure once I get to Napier and actual get back into exercising things will start moving in the right direction again. Don't get me wrong, I haven't 'fallen off the wagon' or anything like that and I'm sure the scales this week will see either 'no change' or a small gain but I have had a million things going on and aren't worried about it at the moment.

Ok, I think that's it at the moment. I'll let you know if I hear anything about the new house.

Weigh in

Lost 200g this week which isn't going to break any sort of record but I'm rapt that its a loss and not a gain. Got the eating under control until about 9pm and then I loose the plot........must work on that.

House hasn't sold YET but we do have a fella coming back for a 2nd look tonight so fingers crossed. If it hasn't sold in 2 weeks, we are renting!

Kids are fabulous, Reece has a school performance on in a couple of weeks and the whole school is practising for it and he is having so much fun but can't give me details because its a suprise.....LOL

Adam is his devilish self. He is going to break lots of hearts when he gets older, that boy.....very cheeky, very cute.

Hubby is also fantastic and we are going to be celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary in 2.5 weeks (which is really 17 as we were together 10 years before we got married). Going out for dinner to our favourite restaurant with NO KIDS ahhhh bliss!

NAPIER

Spent the weekend in Napier and it was glorious.

Wasn't able to watch the All Blacks (our Rugby team) win but heard all about it and also heard the weather here in Wellington was HORRIBLE while in Napier it was clear blue skies and nice and warm during the days.......ahhhhhh nice!.

The boys absolutely love it up there and when we are up there we stay in the Holiday park (2 bedroom cabin) which is lovely and it has a duck pond and park where the kids feed the ducks and play until their hearts are content.

Did I tell you about the house?
We have found a house up there and even put an offer in but they wouldn't accept it because our offer was conditional (we still have our house to sell) which seems silly to me because we offered them their asking price (very rare here in NZ at the moment to actually get your asking price), so I am hoping against all hope that we can sell our house quickly (hahahaha) and buy this before it goes. We did the 'drive by' on the weekend and I still love it, its in a really good suburb and street and the owner was putting up a new front fence.........*big sigh*.

My open home seen 2 groups come through but both weren't interested, even with the second REDUCED price. Our real estate agent told us all their open homes were unsuccessful and there seemed to be people around but no serious buyers, people 'just looking around'......so frustrating.

They have another 2 weeks and if it hasn't sold we are going to rent it and go to Napier or we will still be here this time next year.

Back to work today and it looks like the Wellington weather is fining up after a ripper of a frost this morning. Still chilly though.

Weigh In

Lost 200 grams this week which I'm stoked about as we have just had a long weekend here and I sort of 'relaxed' a bit with my food and we also had one or two social occasions which I sort of 'relaxed' with the ole wine (and a few shooters....LOL).

We got an offer on our house..............don't go getting all excited - we rejected it! It was $40,000 under what we were asking (and we have reduced our price) so we came down another $20,000 and they only came up $5,000 so NO GO there.
Roll on this weeks OPEN HOME I say.

We are popping up to Napier this weekend to visit a few open homes and get a better idea of which area we want to live in. In the last few months we have changed our minds 3 or 4 times and we really need to make a decision and stick to it so I can then investigate schools.

Sorry to say thats all my exciting news........hahaha

I tried taking photo's of my car, my hair and Reece's hair (his had wacky hair day today at school - looked awesome!) but the batteries in my camera were dead so I have them on charge today.

Weigh in

I think all my yummy soups and stir fry's are paying off as I had a 900g loss this week (now 94.6kg) thank you very much.

I have been experimenting with different soups this week and must say pumpkin, kumera and celery is my all time favourite. I keep getting the kids to try my homemade soups and they hate them (I whizz them smooth so they don't see the vege's) but they will eat (packet)chicken noodle soup only which is better than nothing but I WILL convert them.....hahaha.

I really must drag my camera out and take a photo of my car as well as my hair which I cut much shorter a few weeks ago. I'm still not 100% sure of whether I like it or not as I think it makes me look older (can't have that) but the general concensus is that everyone likes it (are they going to say they hate it? NO!), maybe a different style *shrug* I dunno. I'll live with it for another 6 weeks and then decided when I go back for another colour and cut.

We have a busy weekend coming up - friends house to watch the rugby Saturday night, Sunday both boys go to a friends 6th birthday party at ten pin bowling (I'll have to stay...grrr) and Sunday is also our 7th Wedding Anniversary so I'm hoping to spend a few quality hours with my hubby minus the kids. Monday is a public holiday here so the whole family are going to have a 'family' day and go for a picnic or something like that.

Righto back to work I go, bye *waves*

Open Home

We actually had 5 groups of people through our open home yesterday which is more than we have ever had (even our first week on the market) and we have one couple coming back for a 2nd viewing on Wednesday night......yay! (fingers crossed). I knew as soon as I made the decision to rent the bloody thing I'd get some good results, as I would MUCH rather sell it than rent it.

Wasn't very nice weather yesterday so I couldn't kick the kids outside while I cleaned the house (extra clean for open home) and they usually follow me from room to room and mess up what I've just cleaned so I bribed them with a movie, rouring fire and lollies (naughty I know) while I got it done. I then went to my sisters while the open home was on and the lollies kicked in so my little darlings (monsters) were a handful.......will I ever learn????

Had a lovely lunch on Saturday with Helena and then we stopped for another coffee after another couple of hours of shopping and I decided I was getting the delicious looking American Fudge brownie while Leenie got us a seat but in the end I didn't as I have been so on track this week I didn't want to ruin it and I didn't even miss it (so did I really want it????).

My exercise sux at the moment but my food intake has been brilliant, I have been having a protein shake every other day for lunch or breakfast and I reckon this helps.

Right best I get to work

3 months to the day

Who's a slack blogger then *waves arm straight up in the air* sorry bout that.

Well where do I start?????

Our house has been on the market for nearly 3 months now and no bites, we even reduced the price (to lower than what our minimum was but???) and changed the ad, changed the main photo but still nothing.......bugger.

We have the agent coming over tonight as his contract is up and we are going to resign for 1 more month and if it doesn't go then we are going to rent it and get up to Napier as it where we really want to be.

Ummmmm what else? Oh yeah weight - up to 95.5kgs this morning which isn't the worst it got, I did go up over 10kg gain before I decided to stop being lazy and get back to it. I had reverted to old ways (easily done eh?) and started making more convenience food (spaghetti on toast, 2 minute noodles, pizza etc) which wasn't doing myself or my family any favours so as of Monday (on day 3 only) I have gone back to my stir fry's and soups and am really enjoying them. Cut the bread down to a minimum which has always been my biggest downfall (don't know when to stop) and started drinking my water again.

My clothes aren't fitting me anymore and I have gone back into the very few items I had left in my closet which are very boring and frumpy.

I bought a new car, (2nd hand actually) a Toyota Camry Station Wagon (its burgandy).
I had one years ago and I just loved it but it didn't have any air conditioning and the kids and I suffered in the summer with the heat so I have got another one WITH air conditioning and it is awesome driving a camry again.

Treadmill - IN STORAGE. BIG mistake but we hired a storage container and de-cluttered the house and got rid of everything we didn't need or took up space and thinking we would sell in house in a few weeks (ha!) I packed the treadmill away and now I'm suffering because I haven't done any other source of exercise.
I was going to get it back out but have now made the decision to leave it there as we are only going to have the house on the market for another month and then we will be moving anyway and I don't want to junk the house up for the last month.

Hubby and the kids are great and just trucking along. Reece is really improving at school with his teacher this year (MR Frith) and Adam's independence is really showing and he has even moved into his 'own' room because he is a 'big boy' now.......very cute.

Work is work - nothing exciting there, I am actually REALLY looking forward to moving so my head really isn't here anymore - very challenging.

Hope everyone is fine, I have managed to pop in and have a quick read of some of your blogs but haven't always left comments (sorry).

No appetite

Mmmmmm interesting, I have been organising everything for the move to Napier and have had no appetite.............brilliant!!!! LOL.

Hubby currently works for Tip Top as a Territory Manager and has taken on the contract (owner/driver - Distribution partner) for distribution of Tip Top products in Napier.
Fortunately for me, I will have the choice to work part time which will be brilliant as it will allow me to spend more time with my boys as they won't be shuffled off to daycare/after school care everyday.
I'm also looking at getting my heavy trade license so I can be a relief driver for hubby *grunt grunt*. I reckon it can't be THAT hard to drive a big ass truck - right?

Everyone at work knows now which is good as I don't have to leave the room if I make a phone call etc. Everyone is really happy for us and reckon it is a beautiful part of the country to live.

My boss is in a bit of a panic as I have been here nearly 20 years and practically run the place with a huge amount of skills (sorry - blowing my own trumpet) for years of experience and long time contact with our clients/customers/suppliers.
BUT I was a good girl and have given him heaps of notice as I haven't offically resigned as I can't do that until we sell the house (going on the market next week).

Lots of stuff going on and I am having so much fun organising everything.

De-cluttered the kitchen which took me two nights and I ended up with 9 boxes and that's with me throwing stuff out. I just have the bare essential left in the cupboards and will be doing that with the rest of the house between now and next Thursday (when the house goes on the market).

Still haven't been back to WW since 22nd January and I don't think I'll go back anytime soon. I'll wait and see how things go, will definately wait until we move.

Okey Dokey best I be getting back to work *groan*.

WE GOT IT

We are off to Napier........YAY!

There are now a millions things to do:
buy a house
sell a house
find decent schools
buy another car (no more company car)
finalise business loan
get business registered (plus IRD, GST argh!!!)
buy business software (and learn how to use it)
find a part time job

and the list goes on............very scary but very exciting.

That's it for now, I have to go and arrange a storage unit to put all my excess crap from the house so it doesn't look 'cluttered' when we sell it.

Helloooooooooooooooooooo

Yes I'm still here.

Sorry for the absense but I have seriously been snowed under at work and home and haven't had 5 minutes to myself.

I managed to pick up a stomach bug last Thursday and only just made it back to work today and still don't feel 100% but managed to lose 2.5kgs in 5 days....nice! LOL

I'm still totally 'off the rails' with my weight and have not been back to weight watchers in 3 weeks and don't feel like going at the moment so I won't.
My current weight in around 92kgs at the moment and that's after losing 2.5kgs in the last few days so ..... not great.

I currently have my mum in hospital (nothing major) in Australia which I'm worried about just because I can't be there for her PLUS we may be moving to Napier (3.5 hours north of where we are currently for anyone not from NZ) for Andrew's job which I'm also stressing about but trying not too until it happens. I'm snowed under at work and totally miserable with my current job but don't see a light at the end of the tunnel (unless we get the Napier thing) plus the general unmotivated feeling - so all in all I'm OK but just have a thousand things on my mind and unfortunately I'm not putting myself first as I just don't see how I can.

Anyway enough of that palava, how is everyone????
Apart from not updating, I also haven't had a chance to read anyone's blog for a few weeks and feel like a very slack blog friend but I promise I will make some time as soon as I can.

Right I'd better get back to work (ewwww yuk!).

Weigh in

Gain: 4kgs
Total loss: 18.8kgs
Current weight: 91.5kgs

Mmmmmmmmmmmm can't say I'm suprised but still a bummer all the same.

Not going to dwell on it, I'm just going to get on with it and get back to the somewhat healthlier lifestyle I was living BEFORE I went on holiday.

Nothing very exciting planned for today, work, work and work.

We do have some friends coming for a BBQ on Friday.
These particular friends we met when we attended our first antenatel class when we were having Reece and they were really nice, we ended up good friends but they then moved to Napier (about 4 hours north of where we live) about 4 years ago and it wasn't until a few months ago we got back in contact (contact slowly faded when they left - so sad) so we are really looking forward to meeting up again as they haven't met Adam and we haven't met their little girl Maddison. Let's hope for good weather.

Right I'm rambling now so I'll sign off..........

Another quickie

I have a couple of photo's to share,

The boys with their Papa in the pool where they spent most of their time.

This one in particular I wanted to share with you all which is the one of me in my cossy (togs, bathers etc) and lava lava (sarong etc) which I loved because this is basically what I wore for 7 days...........it was hot man!

The others are of the boys at Dreamworld where Spongebob and Patrick were the highlight and the Dora (plane ride) and blue's clues ride were also a big hit.

I'm still running solo at work and I'm just snowed under and have only been able to read one or two blogs but I will get around and see what everyone did over the Xmas period.

Weigh in tonight and my home scales are saying I've put on 5kgs but I'm hoping the WW scales will be kinder but whatever will be will be. I've had a fantastic break and not worried about the weekly weigh in's and now I am ready to get back to it.

I'm BACK

Hellooooooooooo possums

Well I'm back at work (started yesterday actually) early as I got called in the day after I arrived back from Australia, no suprise really as the other lady who works in the Lab is still off on sick leave and won't be back until 1st Feb.
This of course means I am totally run off my feet and I haven't even gone in and seen what anyone else in blogland is up to *big sigh*.

Anyway I have HEAPS to tell you about but that will have to wait until later as this is just a quick post to say 'HI' and let you know that I have had a fabulous Christmas, New Year and holiday in Australia (even though I PAID $40 for a spray tan - couldn't be the only whit Aussie there eh?) and the boys just had a great time.

I do have photo's which I have downloaded off my camera but still haven't sent them here to work - I'll get onto that.

I hope everyone is well and I'll catch up soon.

Oh by the way I decided NOT to get on any scales while on holiday(mainly because my broke) but I did get on them yesterday morning and no suprise they read 92kgs mmmmmmmmm not great but I am back into my water, cereal and salad's now I am back and into my old routine. Roll on weigh in....ggrrrrrr

Wednesday, December 19, 2007

Weigh in

GAIN: 900g (oops)
Total loss: 22.8kgs
Current weight: 87.5kg

No suprise there unfortunately, I actually wasn't that upset because I have had HEAPS of social outings this week and have thoroughly enjoyed myself.

This week is going to be the kicker, I've GOT to make better choices than I did last week and tone down the alcohol consumption.

On the wife vs hubby challenge - I LOST! Grrrrrrrr. I am actually really happy for Andrew who is quite chuffed with himself.
Even though I only lost 500g over the whole challenge (hubby lost 1.3kg) it is still a loss and not a gain which is brilliant.

Got to admit I am really looking forward to having the next month off work, mainly because I will be spending it with my kids (quality time) but partly because I can get my house in order. I find trying to run the house, organising the kids and working full time just gets a bit too much sometimes and things slip and it is usually my house work (I cringe when I think about that because I love a clean house).
If you walked into my house today it would look tidy but it really needs a good clean (ie. floors washed, windows washed, sink scrubbed - ya know that sort of stuff), so I am going to use my first week for cleaning (top to bottom) and that includes cleaning out (again) the kids wardrobes, clothes and toys.
Once it is done I will be able to sit back and relax.

The only other thing I want to achieve before we fly off to Australia is getting the hallway and lounge undercoated with all skirting boards, doors and ceilings painted - not a big ask eh?.......LOL

I am also going to have to be SUPER organised because I am a 'pantry swinger' when I am at home on the weekends and that isn't good so I will have to keep myself occupied and plan my meals (even snacks) as best I can.

Tuesday, December 18, 2007

I'm still here

Well where do I start?

Last Friday the lady who I work with didn't arrive for work which was strange because she is ALWAYS here before me. Then her hubby rang to say she had been admitted to hospital the night before with a suspected heart attack.....scary.
Anyway the poor women is still in hospital today (5 days later) and they are 99% sure it isn't a heart attack (she's 57 years old) but a blood clot somewhere so she got transferred to Wellington hospital this morning for an angiogram (sp?).

Unfortunately it is our busiest couple of weeks of the year and I've been totally snowed under. I am actually sitting here typing this on my lunch break because I just don't have any other time.

So this explains the absence.

Sunday 9th was my company's Kids Xmas party which was a total blast and the boys had so much fun it wasn't funny.
They had 'BJ Bear', 'Charlie Chicken', an air castle and of course SANTA.
Both my kids has always been very wary of Santa and I have never gotten a photo of them with Santa but this year I told them that Santa had rung me and said he was sad because they hadn't gone to see him or say hello so they were 'sweet as' at both the Xmas parties they have been to.

The theme was cowboys and indians.

Then last Friday night was Adam's daycare's Christmas party which was a really hoot, again they had the ole air castle and Santa made another appearance.

Saturday was 2 x hip hop concerts which Dad and Andrew attended as I had Adam's swimming and other things on my agenda.

Dad said the first show was brilliant and he really got into it and new all the moves and just shone :)
Andrew said the night show was only OK as he spent most of the time looking for his Daddy but did most of the dance.

Saturday night was my Work's Xmas party and I had the best time out I've had in YEARS. The theme was cowboy, indians and saloon girls and I decided a saloon girl it was going to be!
They had taxi's pick us up at 5pm and take us all the work where we had a couple of drinks (I had a few bourbons) then a bus took us on a 30 minute trip to a beautiful location where we had dinner and spent the night (I started on bourbons and then after dinner decided wine was a great idea *groan*).
The bus came back at midnight to take us back to work where the taxi's were waiting to take us home (I have no memory of this at all - apparently I slept most of the way). Unfortunately for me I was on the taxi ride home with the Company Director and one of the Senior Managers (and their wives) and they didn't know where I lived and it took them 20 minutes to get it out of me (again, no memory of this at all!).
After finally arriving home then Senior Manager had to carry me from the taxi to my front gate as I couldn't walk where I then told him I was fine and watched them drive away (unfortunately I have vivid memories of this) and once they'd gone I proceeded to drop to my hands and knees and throw up for about 10 minutes (didn't make it to the loo like Leenie).
Hence I was the sickest I've been in years - no wait - EVER!!!!
Andrew had to get up the next morning and clean up after me and then entertain the kids for the morning while I tried to not pass out or vomit when I moved.
Anyway - here is a photo of me at the start of the night with my sisters and brother-in-laws.

Here is me with about an hour or so left of memory (look at the size of those glasses).

I then got to go to both the hip hop concerts on Sunday. The 2pm one is a bit of a blur but Reece spotted me and was a happy camper even though he only danced through some of their song. But when I went back for the 6pm session (where I got to sit next to Leenie and giggle about what old lush's we are) I felt heaps better and really enjoyed the show. When Reece's group came out I was really excited but that soon fell away when he didn't do any of the dance (apart from 1 or 2 moves) as he was too interested in looking for me or looking at the pretty disco ball on the ceiling or just at the other's dancing.............hence there will be no more hip hop next term!
Here's one last photo of my little rapper:

Last night was another night out at friends for hotdog and drinks and I was definately the DRIVER......no alcohol passing these lips until Xmas day.

So as you can all imagine the good work I've done on the BEAST (ie. treadmill) and eating has all gone out the window with my night out.

Monday, December 17, 2007

Be back soon

Wow I have HEAPS to tell you about with Kids Xmas parties, my work xmas party, hip hop concerts and much more but I have no energy at the moment and the photo's are still on my digital camera so I'll save this post until I get them.

Watch this space............

Weigh in

Loss: 200g
Total Loss: 23.7kg
Current weight: 86.6kg (new lowest weight - FINALLY!)

Well I am very pleased with this result as I haven't really held back on the numerous social events over the December period (weekends).

I am a bit confused with my Wife vs Hubby Challenge weight this morning which was 86.8kg which is a gain of 300g from last week and I was naked and it was first thing this morning (TMI???? sorry).
Andrew weighed in at 82.8kg which is a loss of 200g which is fantastic, so he is the winner for this week.

Obviously next week will be better once we have had a full week on THE BEAST (our new treadmill), looking forward to that.

Reece had his first full dress rehearsal for his Hip Hop concert and he looked very cool in his Lime green top and black 3/4 hip hop pants and black hip hop shoes with gelled hair (they are doing a Shrek thing - hence the green top). The shows are on Saturday and Sunday so I will make sure I take a photo or two.

Catch up

Busy busy busy, don't ya just love December .......... NOT!

I'm simply amazed at how many things I have to try and fit in for this month.
Trying to catch up with friends before Xmas is nearly impossible.

There have been so many things on since last week I don't know where to start, I think I'll cheat and just list things rather than write about them:

1. Underfloor insulation installed
2. Reece's Athletic day
3. Adam's daycare afternoon tea
4. Adam's swimming
5. Lunch with a friend and her kids
6. Coffee and a little shop with Helena
7. My work's kids Christmas party
8. Hip Hop dress rehersal's
9. Reece's school 'Christmas Carol's' night
10. Andrew's golf closing day (3 bottles of wine won - yaa ha!)

Still to come in the next 2 weeks:

1. Another full dress rehersal for Reece's Hip Hop
2. 4 Hip Hop shows on the weekend (2pm and 6pm both Sat & Sun)
3. DVS (condensation unit thingie) installation on Friday
4. Adam's daycare's Xmas party
5. Take Jetski in for repairs
6. Get tree chipper guy in to chop up trees
7. Arange bulldozer and nephew (who is a bulldozer driver) to take out stumps and roots and skim an extra carpad.
8. Get woodburner installed as soon as permit turns up from Council
9. Last session for the year for Adam's swimming
10. My work 'do' Christmas party
11. BBQ at friends house
12. 2 x birthday parties for Reece's friends to attend
13. Go and buy materials for fence (50 metres long - last one left to do)
14. Help BUILD fence (I think I'll do the sandwiches and coffee)
15. Buy paint for interior
16. sand down skirtings and doors in hallway before we go away
17. Undercoat hallway and lounge and top coat skirtings
18. Lay carpet in hallway and lounge and lino in bathroom and toilet
19. Oh yeah - lift existing tiles in bathroom and toilet before installers arrive
20. Work Xmas lunch (for our department)
21. Family Xmas lunch (23rd)

I'm sure there is more but I just can't remember at the moment (no bloody wonder!).

I also need to fit in Xmas day and on Boxing day we always go to Andrew's cousins because it is his birthday, New year's at a friends house and off to Oz the first week in January.

Andrew and I also went and bought ourselves a couple of treats which will also be our Xmas presents to each other.

Andrew got a 42" tv with an ambi light behind it (a light glows from behind which is suppose to be good for your eye's) and I got a HUGE treadmill - here it is.

I have been on it a few times and I just love it but the hardest thing now it trying to get time to get on it because hubby is always on it.........LOL.
With the TV purchase we also got a free MP3 player with headphones and another headphone set thing with bluetooth so we can download music on the MP3 player and both listen to it at the same time while we work out........oh how romantic.

I'm still struggling with my weekend eating and drinking but I think I've been lucky to pull it back with my strict routine during the week (fingers crossed).
Weigh in tonight and I'm not sure how that will go - maybe maintain? but I'm feeling less stressed about it (ie. scales) because I'm having a ball with this very social time of the year and even though I'm having a few things I shouldn't, I'm not going crazy and then beating myself up about it.

Catch ya tomorrow with the results.

Weigh in

Loss: 400g
Total Weight: 23.5kgs
Current Weight: 86.8kg (again)

Off goes the 400g (again) that I put on last week.....hahaha, that 400 grams just keeps comin' and a goin'. Happy that the scales went down rather than up.

DIDN'T do the 'no alcohol' last week but managed to half my consumption (only drank 2 bottles rather than 4 on the weekend). This weeks booklet tells me that a bottle of wine is worth 7 points which is actually less than what I had thought so I think I will allow for that each weekend because now I have the taste for wine, I'm pretty sure I don't want to give it up again and I'm useless at having just one.......LOL

Had a fabulous weekend, can't remember exactly what I did but it was fab and the weather was sunny and I had lots of BBQ's and time with the kids (oh yeah we did the park and a picnic) and just a nice relaxing couple of days.......noice!!

Wife vs Hubby challenge seen me win week 2 *evil snigger*.
